2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). When you visit the site, your IP address and technical request data are processed by the host to deliver the pages and keep them secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website). Fonts are served from this site; no requests are made to Google.

3. Contact form

If you send an enquiry, we store the name, email address, selected service and message you enter, so that we can answer you. The data is saved in a database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) [select the EU/jurisdiction option if you enabled it] and a notification is sent to us by the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiry) and Art. 6(1)(f). We delete enquiries after [24 months] at the latest, unless a contract or legal duty requires longer storage.

4. Support chat

The chat assistant answers questions with pre-written responses. If you click "I agree" at the start of a chat, we store the messages of that conversation under a random session ID, without your name or IP address, so that we can follow up and improve our service. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can use the chat without agreeing, in which case nothing is stored. Saved chats are deleted automatically after 90 days. To have a chat deleted earlier, email us. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat.

5. Spam protection and rate limiting

To protect the forms from abuse, we use a hidden field and a limit on the number of requests. For this a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) is kept for a short time. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your light/dark choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your device only. It is not sent to us.

7. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Our providers (GitHub, Cloudflare, Resend) act as processors and may process data in the USA. Transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses. [Verify each provider's current status and sign their data processing agreements.]
